Its identity is defined not by painted motifs, but by a crackled glaze that tells a story of time and transformation. Known as “golden threads and iron wires,” this intricate network of dark and amber fissures was historically achieved through a patient, multistep process: initial firing created the primary cracks (iron wires), which were then stained with charcoalash water; years of natural oxidation gradually formed the finer, golden secondary cracks.
