Kungfuyang 2026 Bingdao Laozhai Ancient Tree Dragon Pearl Pu-erh Tea

This remarkable raw Pu-erh originates from the legendary ancient tea forests of Bingdao Laozhai in Yunnan's Lincang region, crafted entirely from 2026 summer-harvested old tree leaves (Gushu). Utilizing the traditional "Dragon Pearl" hand-rolling technique, the premium leaves are meticulously formed into compact, spherical pearls. This artisanal format elegantly preserves the leaves' vital energy and natural oils while facilitating a smooth, gradual aging process—with each pearl perfectly portioned at approximately 7-8 grams of exquisite tea material for a single, effortless session.

Despite being a summer harvest, the centuries-old root systems of the ancient trees infuse these leaves with profound depth, bypassing the typical bitterness of standard summer teas to deliver an incredibly clean and vibrant profile. The dry pearls showcase a beautiful, tightly woven mosaic of deep forest green and shimmering silver buds. Once steeped, they gracefully unfold to release a rich, clear, and luminous golden liquor. Brewing Guide:

Teaware: Porcelain gaiwan or Yixing purple clay teapot.

Water Temperature: 95-100°C (203-212°F) | Pure spring water is highly recommended.

Amount: 1 pearl per 120ml - 150ml teaware.

Awakening Rinse: Pour hot water over the pearl and rinse briefly for 10-15 seconds to allow the tightly rolled ball to gently awaken and begin opening. Discard this initial rinse.

Steeping Time:

First infusion: 20-25 seconds (allowing the core of the pearl to slowly release its flavor).
